Simon works as a PhD student at the KU Leuven. He works for a new ERC consolidator project called SCIFY, which aims at building an imaging instrument for the Very Large Telescope Interferometer located in Chile. Simon started the Aether project together with Roemer Spreij and Vito di Bernardo in the year 2019-2020. Today he follows the project as an alumni in the management board.
